Dawn of War 2 competition

22 Dec 2009 – Replay Interactive is proud to present Asia-Pacific Replay 2010 Dawn of War II Tournament! The finals of the tournament will be held at Taipei Games Show 2010. Meanwhile, the participating countries, Hong Kong, Malaysia (TBA), Taiwan and Singapore will be having their own local legs of the tournament to audition for the best to compete in the regional finals.

The Singapore Open will be held on 16 January 2010, between 9 am to 2 pm, at The Colosseum (Iluma Shopping Centre, Bugis). This tournament is co-organized by The Colosseum, one of the largest LAN centres in Singapore, co-hosted by SCOGA (Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association) and supported by official media partner GameAxis Unwired.

Interested Dawn of War II gamers who wish to take up for the challenge may form a team of 2 and sign up to compete in the DOWII 2 vs 2 Showdown from now till 13 Jan 2010 at http://www.replayinteractive.com/newsd.php?nid=122. The Champion will earn a seat in the regional finals at the Taipei Games Show 2010, flight and accomodation fully paid, plus SGD 500 cash and the upcoming standalone expansion, Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising. The 1st and 2nd Runner-Up will win SGD 400 and SGD 300, plus a copy each of the DOWII standalone expansion, respectively.

To cap it off, between 10 am and 1 pm on 16 January 2010, gamers who visit Colosseum are eligible to PLAY FOR FREE at the pre-reserved THQ Experience Zone. Within this zone, gamers may experience the best of THQ PC games including Company of Heroes, Saints Row 2, Dawn of War II and Red Faction: Guerrilla.
